The connector that plugs into the Zenbook from Asus' 45-watt power adapter is a 3-conductor thing, with the outer barrel divided into 2 parts. Targus and many others are selling adapters for this computer that have a conventional 2-conductor plug (barrel and center hole). What's the difference? Is the 3rd conductor used for the indicator light on Asus' plug? Is anybody out there successfully using a 3rd-party AC adapter that has the ordinary plug?
